ABOUT ME

My name is Ioulia Pappa, but everyone calls me Ilia. I am from Greece and currently I live in London. I have recently graduated from London Metropolitan University’s Translation Studies M.A. programme. I am also a B.A. holder of English Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. My academic career is targeted in both Greek and English language use, therefore I am a certified, qualified and professional linguist and researcher with experience in the filed; good trades for a translator. I can translate in and out of English and Greek Source Texts and my fields of specialisation lie with creative translation production such us literary translation, transcreation, advertisement and subtitling. That being said, I am familiar with all types of general and technical texts. With my hard-work and ongoing expertise, I believe I am a trustworthy individual able to bridge the gap between the two languages in a natural and fluent way.
